Todays post is a how to of sorts. This last month I have been really experimenting with the Coastal Scents revealed 2 eyeshadow palette. I came up with a look that I consider to be Romantic & my favorite with this palette so far. So today Im going to show you how to do this Romantic Eye!
This look is actually very simple as in there really is no special technique.
Eyes:
Prep- Prime the lids with a primer , then add a base (elf smudge pot, to help the colors really pop & last all day)
Put the Light Pink underneath the brow (to highlight that part of the eye) with a eyeshadow brush.
But this gold in the inner 1/2 of the lid & the inner 1/3 of the lower lid
Add this pink to the outer half of the lid & blend it with the gold we added first.
Put the Fiji Matte Bronzer shade (a matte medium brown) into the crease with a blending brush using wind wiper motions. Then add this light purple shade in the crease with a crease brush.
Mix the dark brown and black and darken up the crease just a little.
Then use this cranberry shade to darken up crease & make a side ways V on the outer part of the lid and lower lid (make sure to blend)
Then Make a winged line with the black from the palette. And add this light shimmery shade to the tear duct area (this will brighten your eyes up)
That’s it you can add liquid liner to make the winged line more intense or just add mascara and be done with it. I personally did add a nude color eyeliner in the water line & a black in the tight line.
Its time for May Favorites. May favorites is basically where I give you suggestions for beauty products that I have used all month long and have loved. I am so exciting because I am moving into my house in a week or so. So anywho lets start with all my beauty favorites.
Everything I am wearing in my makeup today are favorites! So lets go through them.
For my Face I have a couple blushes ,bronzer & highlight that I have been really loving.
Elf Mineral Blush (#1): I love this because it is so soft and beautiful for this summer. On me it looks more coral and peachy so I have been loving this with more of a bronzey eye.
Elf Blush & Bronzer Duo Fiji Matte (#2): I have been loving this bronzer because it is a matte shade but it is not to dark so I can use it to contour with or to warm up the face. I am personally really impressed with these ELF powder products because they are not dry and they have a good kick of color!
Elf Baked Blush (#3 Left) : Passion Pink I love this because it gives such a glow to the skin and for a blush it is so gorgeous! I feel like this could be a beautiful highlight as well for deep skin.
ELF Baked Blush (#3 Right): PInktastic I use this as a highlight and I love it! You have to be a little careful because it has great payoff and sometimes it is easy to go overboard. Even though it is marketed as a blush I love it for a glowy champaigne highlight!
Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette (#1): This is such a beautiful palette and I am honestly real impressed with the pigmentation it has. I love this because it has a good selection of pigmented romantic shades (similiar to the naked 3)
Elf Smudge Pot: Aint that Sweet (#3 right) http://go.magik.ly/r/BondBeautyful/1364/
Elf Smudge Pot: Back to the Basics (#3 left) http://go.magik.ly/r/BondBeautyful/1364/
Elf single eyeshadow: mocha http://go.magik.ly/r/BondBeautyful/9261/
Elf single eyeshadow: peach fizz http://go.magik.ly/r/BondBeautyful/9261/
Elf Single eyeshadow: moon dust http://go.magik.ly/r/BondBeautyful/9261/
Elf Single Eyeshadow: Pink Ice http://go.magik.ly/r/BondBeautyful/9261/
For the lips I have been loving this Wet N Wild Balm Stain Rico Mauve It is absolutely amazing! I love how it looks for this summer time! Honestly any time I use the Coastal Scents palette I always pair I with this lippy!
So Don’t forget I am doing a monthly favorite makeup look tutorial coming soon (tomorrow) and this is the look! SNEEK PEEK
Hello my Bondbeautys, This month Mr. Bond and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary! I am so happy and lucky to have such a wonderful husband. In honor of this exciting time I filmed the “getting ready” portion before we went out for dinner and I am sharing it with you now! I am going to show you how I did my makeup for my Anniversary. He worked most the day so we just went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory which is one of my favorite places to eat! I had such a good time with him , specially since we were kid free for a while! So lets talk about face makeup..
You can go from bare skin to Date Ready quickly with this real romantic makeup look!
Maybelline Infallible Foundation (Sun Beige) http://go.magik.ly/r/BondBeautyful/8d04/
Maybelline Baby Skin Primer http://go.magik.ly/r/BondBeautyful/8d03/
LA Colors Lipgloss & Lipstick Duo Sensual (Dollar Tree)
Now the eyes I wanted to do a romantic type of eye look so I went with the Revealed 2 Palette . I like this palette because the shades are very similar to the Naked 3 Palette except it is more affordable. I also think that these shadows have great pigmentation.
E.L.F. Smudge Pot Aint That Sweet http://go.magik.ly/r/BondBeautyful/1364/
1. Put the smudge pot on as a base. Aint that sweet smudge pot by ELF
2. Put the light pink under the brows for a highlight (#1)
3. Put this peachy gold on the outer 2/3 of the lid (#2)
4. Use your bronzer and add with a blending brush to the crease.
5. Add this pinky shade to blend out the line between the peach and smudge pot. (#3)
6. Add this purple light matte shade into the crease and outer part of the lid.(#4)
7. Mix the #5 & #6 which are both matte and deepen up the out part of the lid & crease. Then make sure to blend the crease with a big fluffy brush.
8. Add the #4 light purple to the lower lid & you can mix it with this beautiful cranberry shade aswell. (#8)
9. Last add the #7 which is a shimmer light shade to the inner corners to brighten up the look.
Then you are all done just add liner & Mascara!
This look is perfect for an occasion like this because it is romantic, day or night appropriate and it is made to last all day long. Here are some fun pictures of us on our way out the door..
So today I am starting a new series where I show you my monthly favorite makeup look , in a tutorial form, every month to go along with my monthly favorite products video. Im super excited because I get to show you how I create my look using my favorite products.
By the way I’m so excited because we finished knocking down our house wall and we have the beam up. It looks so awesome I am so excited that the hard stuff is over. Soon we are going to paint and add flooring !
Todays look is a super easy summer/spring appropriate every day makeup look. I love how the coral blush & gold tones in my eye makeup just go together so perfect. I feel like this makeup looks so fresh , clean and beautiful.
I did use the Divergent Collectors kit Erudite & Abnegation Palettes. You do not have to use these ones I showed you close ups of the eye shadows so you can find eye shadows that are similar! But for those of you who do have the collectors kit already I thought it would be neat to use it! The Hard Candy Natural Eyes palette has very Similar shades.
For the rest of my face I kept it pretty natural and fresh. I love using my real techniques sponge because it applies my foundation flawlessly. A trick I like to do is contour my cheek bones. This makes me look a lot thinner which I need ( Specially since I just had a baby). I have been loving the Bh Cosmetics Sculpting kit Contour Brush. Ill put links to where you can find everything I used today if you are interested.
Divergent Palettes- ( I saw one on ebay but it is super expensive) Find eyeshadows similar! Hard Candy Natural Eyes Palette is very Similar- http://a.chipp.us/r/BondBeautyful/6d94/
Milani baked Blush: Rose D’Oro – http://a.chipp.us/r/BondBeautyful/82b2/
Today I wanted to share my beauty favorites for this past month , because it is already MAY! Its so crazy how fast time flys and I have been obsessed with one particular makeup look all month long. I am also going to be starting a new series where I also do my Favorite Makeup Look for the Month. So I will be showing you a makeup look using these beauty favorites on Monday so stay tuned!
This past month I have been loving a very natural spring eye & a coral fresh lip + cheek combo. I feel like this all ties together beautifully. Bonus: I think this look is a beautiful spring wedding look as well! It photographs beautifully leaving a beautiful glow to the skin. So lets start talking products..
These two palettes have been my favorites this month. I know a lot of you bought these when they first came out. They are the Divergent palettes from the Divergent Kit. These are the shades I have been using to create my looks. These eyeshadows are beautifully pigmented, feel so soft & are easy to work with. The top palette is Erudite Palette & the bottom is Abnegation palette.
Now for the rest of the face I feel like all these products go together so nicely. The blush & Lippy just work together because they are both that coral type of shades.
These brushes are from Bh Cosmetics and man did they surprise me I love them. They are all skunk or duo fiber brushes and they do well in not eating up all my product. I also recently took out my Real techniques Beauty Sponge and it just leaves your face looking flawless. It is a great way to blend out foundation.
This Grafix eyeliner by L.A. Colors has been they product that makes my wing liner come to life all month long. It is really black and all though it took me a little to get use to the applicator it is beautiful. ( I don’t recommend it for beginners though)
This hand lotion I got from the Dollar Tree and I can say I am really enjoying it. There were two in a pack and I find that they are super convenient to have on your vanity & purse. Specially because my hands can get ashy looking.
Last is this beautiful Copper nailpolish from E.L.F. Called Copper. It is gorgeous and subtle so if you don’t like “in your face” type of polishes this one is perfect. Bonus its only $2 on their website!
So like I said I will be doing my April Favorite Makeup look Tutorial on Monday so make sure to check back then!
What is your current favorite beauty item?
Remember Beauty comes from within so let yours shine!
Happy Monday! It rained here in Arizona last night and this morning the weather is beautiful & fresh. So here we go I have a review on a diamond in the rough type of product! I found these at the Dollar Tree and for the price of $1 they are amazing.
So there are four shades in the whole collection. These are meant to be highlighters but I found that some of these have enough color to work as a blush as well! I find that these last me 8 hrs if I don’t touch my face. I think they look so beautiful in pictures and videos especially! But, these do have glitter flecks in them. So when they fade they leave behind glitter which is not appealing , but as long as you dont touch your face they should be fine. They blend out super easy, I like to use my finger or the E.LF Small stipple brush. I these do have a lot of color pay off but they blend out smooth, and give a good flush of color to the skin.
So Lets talk about the shades and how they look!
Pink glow is a gorgeous pink with gold shimmer in it! It works well as a blush & highlighter in one! (this is what I have on in todays video) For the purpose of the video I didn’t wear it alone I also wore summer glow in the highlight area. This one is probably my favorite one of the whole collection, because I feel like its perfect for the summer time!
Summer glow is a beautiful highlight champagne shade. This one does have silver glitter in it but they are very fine! I find that when it wears off (which doesn’t happen for about 8 hrs unless you touch your face a lot) it does leave behind glitter on your face which is no fun. I think this would be perfect for fair skin!
Copper Glow Is a beautiful bronzey shade that I think is perfect for the summer sunkissed type of look. It is very brassy but when blended out it is amazing! This one also has heavy glitter in it but when blended out it look great on the skin!
Mauvey Glow is a beautiful blush shade as well that will also give you the glow without needing to apply two products! This one is not my favorite because I feel like the glitter flecks are a lot more noticeable but it is still beautiful.
For only $1 Its worth a try for sure , I love them and I find that they work as a great blush base as well!
So lets talk about my look for the day!
Till next time..
Remember beauty comes from within so let yours shine!

So today I’m talking about Dollar Tree Hits & Misses. I love seeing what kind of beauty products they have at the Dollar Tree because sometimes they really do have some great stuff. So today I’m going to tell you what I think is worth spending your dollar bill on!
So I products I am talking about are actually currently in your dollar tree so if your interested check out your local dollar tree. ( I am not sponsored I just love the Dollar Tree!)
Hits
LA Colors Lipstick & Lip gloss Duo : Pleasure – I Love this seriously I love all the shades so pigmented , last a long time & so creamy I did a whole review and swatch post so check it out!
ELF Shimmering Facial Whip: Lilac Pedal- I Love these I have all of them , you can add them to your foundation for a glowy finish or use them as blush or highlight and they are gorgeous! I use my elf small stipple brush with it and it works great! Or your fingers will work great too!
Sally Hansen Nail polish: These are the same great formula you find at the drugstore so I love these , they are a great buy.
LA Color Craze Nail polish: This is another great nail polish brand that is at the Dollar Tree I am definitely going to try more because I loved the formula and longevity!
E.L.F. Eyelash curler! This is the best eyelash curler in the drugstore seriously and the fact that you can find it at the dollar tree is awesome!
Maybelline Face & Body Highlighters: These are a hit! I am doing a review soon on these there are four shades and they are great to try! The Pink Glow is one of my favorites to use for a blush! Its a blush and highlighter in one!
Hand Creams: I found these by the register and they are great for on the go hand cream, they feel soft and very nice! Plus they smell so great!
Misses
LA Colors All n One Jumbo pencil: Its just to lilac and icy to work on my skin but it would be a nice highlight for fair skin.
LA Colors Eyeliner & Eyeshadow pencil: I love the brown even though it can crease on you so for this reason it is a miss , but the color is beautiful!
Physicians formula blush: It just looks like a white powder, it is really soft but I don’t what a white looking blush on my cheeks 😀
Maybelline color show textured nailpolish vintage leather: It was terrible! It dried chalky on my nail, it scraped right off after it dried and it was nothing close to the color in the jar. It also looked very chunky , didn’t like it at all!
I am going to start doing a look of the day if I do not do a tutorial so you can know what products I used for my look! Today I will have two because I am posting two different blog posts! Lucky you!:D
My Look of the Day:
LA Colors Liquid Eyeliner
LA Colors Lipgloss & Lipstick Duo: Pleasure
Hard Candy Natural Eyes Palette (Eyes , keeping it simple)
Im going to make a big effort to post videos & blogs on here more often. Quick house update: The house still has no flooring no paint job but the wall paper is finally all down! I am so happy about the wall paper being down it was so time consuming!

All of these except for three are drugstore products , you guys know I love my Drugstore!
Do you have a must have holy grail product that you always use?
Remember,Beauty Comes from within so let yours shine!
Happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to do a long awaited review on the foundation I am currently Loving! This is the L’oreal Infallible pro matte foundation. I have been trying this foundation out for over a month now and because it is fairly new at the drugstore I wanted to an in-depth review on it.
Claims:
This foundation claims to be a Demi Matte Foundation that will last for 24 Hr & that it is medium coverage. It claims to be air light , & never dull as well.
Coverage:
I think that this foundation is more of a fuller coverage foundation. The reason I say this is because for those of us who just slab on our makeup fast in the morning it will end up being full coverage. Why? Because you do not need much of this foundation and to make it medium coverage I feel like you have to be conscious of how much you put on. With that said it can definitely be medium coverage if you only put a small amount on.
Finish:
This is a matte foundation, I do not think it is a demi matte . To me it feel like a full out matte foundation. Because my skin is pretty normal to maybe dry (because of pregnancy etc) I notice that my skin can get really dry wearing this if I do not properly apply moisturizer before hand. So as long as I apply a good hydrating moisturizer I find that I have no problems with this foundation!
Texture:
As far as it being air light. I feel like for the coverage it has , it definitely feels light! But I feel like after it really sets it feel like your regular skin! It also feels really soft and creamy but sets to matte finish. Its also really easy to blend! Basically it feels wonderful when you apply it to your skin & it also spreads so incredibly easy! NO tugging & no frustration Just sheer bliss!
Longevity:
This is a 24 hr foundation! Yes, I said it , It lasted me for 24 hrs easy! Now I don’t mean that after 24 hrs I still saw some foundation left on my face; I mean that after 24 hrs my skin looked exactly how it did when I first applied it! I am so incredibly impressed with how beautifully this looked after hours of working on my house, sweating even working out!
I feel Like when it sets it sets! So it does not transfer on to clothing which is one of my pet peeves! No one wants to give their husband a hug and have makeup come off on their clothing!
Shade:
They have a pretty good shade selection , Not as good as their L’Oreal True Match Foundation , but still not bad at all. I found my shade by picking the same shade name as the Loreal true match foundation. So in the True Match I am w6 sun beige. So I went with the Infallible shade 106 Sun Beige & it fit me perfectly. I do not know if all their names are the same in each collection but that is a good place to start.
Now for the main reason why I like this foundation…
This foundation has a more of a yellow tone to it, which I love! I have such trouble finding my perfect match because either a foundation is too pink or orange! This foundation I think is perfect for those of us that have that yellow undertone to our skin! seriously I have never seen a foundation at the drugstore that matches me this perfectly just because of the yellow hue in it!
How I apply:
I like to apply it with a flat top dense stippling brush from Bh Cosmetics. It does such a good job in blending that I love it! I like to apply it section by section because when this foundation sets their is no budging! Doing it section by section really helps me to concentrate on on space at a time & not feel rushed to blend out the rest of my face!
Who will love this?
So I did try this on my mom and let me tell you it looked gorgeous! So I think whether you are young or mature you will like how this looks. It doesn’t settle into fine lines or anything like that! need proof? well here you have it..
Is it Picture Perfect foundation?
So I did test this foundation out with my professional camera in natural light & with a flash. I also tested this out with my phone for a selfie with a flash & without; Let me tell you this foundation looks great in any lighting , with a flash and without! I was truly impressed. It doesn’t have spf so I would expect it to do good and of course it did great!
So here are the pictures with my Canon T5i with a flash and without…. (with only this foundation on , no powder or anything else)
As you can tell it does not give off a white cast which is great it keeps your neck even with your face! So this is definitely a picture perfect foundation.
Overall:
I really like this foundation , it does what it says its going to do which is awesome! I think that if you have young or mature skin you will like this foundation. I think this is more for those who want a long lasting foundation. This is also great in pictures & gives you a full coverage look without looking cakey. This is a good foundation for oily to normal and even normal to dry as long as you moisturize well.
Well that it for today , Till next time!
Don’t forget, Beauty comes from within so let yours shine!
