Maybelline Face & Body Highlighter Review

Hello my Bondbeautys,

Happy Monday! It rained here in Arizona last night and this morning the weather is beautiful & fresh. So here we go I have a review on a diamond in the rough type of product! I found these at the Dollar Tree and for the price of $1 they are amazing.

So there are four shades in the whole collection. These are meant to be highlighters but I found that some of these have enough color to work as a blush as well! I find that these last me 8 hrs if I don’t touch my face. I think they look so beautiful in pictures and videos especially! But, these do have glitter flecks in them. So when they fade they leave behind glitter which is not appealing , but as long as you dont touch your face they should be fine. They blend out super easy, I like to use my finger or the E.LF Small stipple brush. I these do have a lot of color pay off but they blend out smooth, and give a good flush of color to the skin.

So Lets talk about the shades and how they look!

Pink glow is a gorgeous pink with gold shimmer in it! It works well as a blush & highlighter in one! (this is what I have on in todays video) For the purpose of the video I didn’t wear it alone I also wore summer glow in the highlight area. This one is probably my favorite one of the whole collection, because I feel like its perfect for the summer time!

Summer glow is a beautiful highlight champagne shade. This one does have silver glitter in it but they are very fine! I find that when it wears off (which doesn’t happen for about 8 hrs unless you touch your face a lot) it does leave behind glitter on your face which is no fun. I think this would be perfect for fair skin!

Copper Glow Is a beautiful bronzey shade that I think is perfect for the summer sunkissed type of look. It is very brassy but when blended out it is amazing! This one also has heavy glitter in it but when blended out it look great on the skin!

Mauvey Glow is a beautiful blush shade as well that will also give you the glow without needing to apply two products! This one is not my favorite because I feel like the glitter flecks are a lot more noticeable but it is still beautiful.

For only $1 Its worth a try for sure , I love them and I find that they work as a great blush base as well!

Hello my bondbeautys,

So I meant to have this up by Monday but I had really bad food poisoning on sunday and only managed to post this video up without a blog post. Any who… I will have two posts up today because I am uploading another fun video later today…

So today I’m talking about Dollar Tree Hits & Misses. I love seeing what kind of beauty products they have at the Dollar Tree because sometimes they really do have some great stuff. So today I’m going to tell you what I think is worth spending your dollar bill on!

So I products I am talking about are actually currently in your dollar tree so if your interested check out your local dollar tree. ( I am not sponsored I just love the Dollar Tree!)

Hits

LA Colors Lipstick & Lip gloss Duo : Pleasure – I Love this seriously I love all the shades so pigmented , last a long time & so creamy I did a whole review and swatch post so check it out!
ELF Shimmering Facial Whip: Lilac Pedal- I Love these I have all of them , you can add them to your foundation for a glowy finish or use them as blush or highlight and they are gorgeous! I use my elf small stipple brush with it and it works great! Or your fingers will work great too!
Sally Hansen Nail polish: These are the same great formula you find at the drugstore so I love these , they are a great buy.
LA Color Craze Nail polish: This is another great nail polish brand that is at the Dollar Tree I am definitely going to try more because I loved the formula and longevity!
E.L.F. Eyelash curler! This is the best eyelash curler in the drugstore seriously and the fact that you can find it at the dollar tree is awesome!
Maybelline Face & Body Highlighters: These are a hit! I am doing a review soon on these there are four shades and they are great to try! The Pink Glow is one of my favorites to use for a blush! Its a blush and highlighter in one!
Hand Creams: I found these by the register and they are great for on the go hand cream, they feel soft and very nice! Plus they smell so great!

Misses

LA Colors All n One Jumbo pencil: Its just to lilac and icy to work on my skin but it would be a nice highlight for fair skin.
LA Colors Eyeliner & Eyeshadow pencil: I love the brown even though it can crease on you so for this reason it is a miss , but the color is beautiful!
Physicians formula blush: It just looks like a white powder, it is really soft but I don’t what a white looking blush on my cheeks 😀
Maybelline color show textured nailpolish vintage leather: It was terrible! It dried chalky on my nail, it scraped right off after it dried and it was nothing close to the color in the jar. It also looked very chunky , didn’t like it at all!

I am going to start doing a look of the day if I do not do a tutorial so you can know what products I used for my look! Today I will have two because I am posting two different blog posts! Lucky you!:D

Hello, My Bondbeautys!

Happy Monday ,

Im going to make a big effort to post videos & blogs on here more often. Quick house update: The house still has no flooring no paint job but the wall paper is finally all down! I am so happy about the wall paper being down it was so time consuming!

So today I decided to tell you guys about beauty products that I tend to use behind the blog or video scene. Things that I think are must have, holy grails or favorites. You can call it whatever you want , basically these prep my look and so on.

You guys know I love to incorporate a video with each blog so here it is make sure to take a look to see all the products up close & personal!

So In this video I pretty much talk about skin, makeup, nails & hair! I talk about my favorite products that I really use from day to day, week to week, month to month & year to year. Sometimes I don’t mention these products because I do not like to repeat the same products all the time for you guys. All of these except for three are drugstore products , you guys know I love my Drugstore!

Meet My Baby Durham

Hello My Bondbeautys,

Today is the perfect day to do a meet my baby blog post. It has been now 3 months and Durham has grown so big!

Durham was born on January 6 2015 He weight 8 lbs 14 ounces! Yes he was a really big baby, he was actually born on my due date which is pretty cool. His big brother Hyrum was born two weeks early so you can imagine my surprise that I made it full term.

So Durham is three months old now & am so glad that Hyrum is doing so good with him. Hyrum surprised me by absolutely adoring Durham since the very beginning ! I thought for sure he would get jealous but no he loves him to death.

Let me tell you I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect baby! Durham is so quiet and just chill. He will just sit there and look around and watch , no fuss! He also now could be wide awake but when it hits 8 o clock I lay him in his crib and he falls right to sleep all on his own! It is absolutely amazing how wonderful he is. I can see the difference in personality between Hyrum & Durham, Hyrum is so silly and Durham is so layed back.

Im so excited for all of our future adventures with these two boys!

I Olive You Makeup

Hello my Bondbeautys,

Its early , I’m up and the kids are cozy in their beds still. Perfect time to share this makeup look with you beauties. I was recently looking through my makeup and realized that their is a lot of IPSY products that I have not tried yet! What!! I know pretty crazy, so I took everything out that I have not tried yet & made this beautiful makeup look with it. I also did a easy video tutorial to go along with this post for all you visual learners!

So the star of the show today is the Olive Green pigment , it is gorgeous! As soon as I saw it I new I had to make a look around this color! You don’t usually see wearable olive green eye makeup, but I think that this look turned out pretty darn wearable!

They Key to making a intense eye look wearable is making your face makeup & Lips look as natural as possible. So here are the products I used & the steps to create this look. Again If you are more visual then check the tutorial!

Step #1 : Prep

It is so important to prep your skin for makeup! Taking care of your skin is so important because it keeps your skin look smooth & less aged. Nobody wants to look 40 at 25!

1. Moisturizer first

2. Face Primer second

3. Exfoliate those beautiful lips too!

Step #2 : Makeup

Its time to apply some makeup & create a beautiful unique olive eye look. (which makes all eye colors look gorgeous especially brown or honey eyes!)

Eyes:

1. Apply a warm brown eyeshadow pencil to the lid & crease, then use your finger to blend it out. (this will be your base.. Do the eyes first so if you have any fall out it won’t mess up your face makeup.)

2. Then use a Midtone Cool brown (Blue heart) to apply into the crease & blend it out real well. (this is going to act as our transition color which will help blend the olive out better)

*the key in this eye look is blending really well so take your time doing this with a fluffy CLEAN blending brush!

3. Apply the olive green with a eyeshadow brush onto the out half of the lid & toward the crease. I used this pigment dry so instead of swiping with the brush just pat the color onto the lid; slowly building up the color.( don’t worry about fall out thats why we didn’t do our face makeup first!) Then blend the green and the crease color together using a Clean blending brush.

4. Apply the light pink in the duo underneath the brow to highlight & in the inner most corner of the eye.

5. Apply the Gold in the duo in the inner half of the lid and with the eyeshadow brush you are using carefully blend the olive green and gold together to make a smooth transition.

Face: (im skipping to the face next but I will be back to finish the eyes later!)

1. Apply your concealer & foundation

2. apply a brightenng concealer in an inverted triangle shape under the eyes to brighten , then powder your face

3. apply a bronzer to the hallows of your cheeks for a subtle contour

4. use a light natural pink blush

5. highlight your cheek bones for a beautiful glow

6. apply a lip stain to your lips (this is what gives your look such a natural effect the stain looks natural!) also apply the stain to the apples of your cheeks to add a naturally flushed appearance.

Eyes: (go back to the eyes to finish )

1. apply the eyeshadow pencil to lower lash line & blend with finger.

2. apply the mid toned brown to the lower lid & add the gold shadow to the inner ⅓ of lower lid

3. apply a black eyeliner to the tight line & a green eyeliner to the waterline

4. apply a liquid liner to the upper lashes making a cat eye winged liner.

5. apply mascara & false lashes if needed!

Thats it , I know it seems like a lot of steps because I really broke everything down so that I could be more detailed. This really is a fast look to accomplish and anyone can do this look! I hope you will try it out & use the hashtag #bondbeautyfullooks so that I can see too!

33 Week Pregnancy Vlog

Hello my Bondbeautys,

So I am so sorry I have been behind on my pregnancy vlogs! Obviously I am not pregnant anymore but I did film some pregnancy vlogs before I gave birth. So I am going to be slowly putting them up for your to see if your interested!

So this is my 33 week pregnancy vlog/blog post & for some reason I cant find any of my belly shot pics! I am so sorry , but you can definitely check the video to see how big my belly is!

How Far Along? 33 Weeks
Symptoms? lots of Braxton Hicks , Flimsy Nails, tired, Ankle Tenderness,
Stretch Marks? No New ones Yet although I can see two coming on in the front of my belly Oh NO!
Sleep? Still having a hard time sleeping , I wake up a lot!
Exciting Moment/ event? I am going to start getting my hospital bag together!
Miss anything? I miss sleeping!
Movement? Yes he still moves a lot in there specially when I lay down he kicks a lot!
Cravings? Hot Cheetos & Mama Chocolate fudge cookies!

Gender Reveal Party

Hello My Bondbeautys,

So today I wanted to share with you a Special Event, My Gender reveal party!

Since this is baby number two I wanted to keep the gender a secret and do a gender reveal instead of a baby shower. So I kept it a secret from my family and friends and finally got around to doing a barbecue / gender reveal party. So we made hotdogs and had blue and pink cupcakes. We also had pink lemonade and blue punch. we had fruit as well.

I made the invitation all myself on pic monkey just in case you were wondering. I also made picture props so that everyone could cast there vote of what they thought baby would be before we revealed it.

Here are all the fun pictures we did…

Then We went ahead and did a big family picture and made it semi funny…

Then we went ahead and let the kids hit a piñata to reveal the gender, the candy inside was blue so it is a BOY! For some reason I don’t have the pictures of them actually hitting the piñata sorry guys but here is our last family pic and obviously everyone and their mother thought it was going to be a girl!

We also did little prizes for those who guessed right! They were simple boy toys we got from the dollar store!

After we ate and we revealed the gender we all had a water balloon fight. It was so fun watching all the kids going crazy!

Gender Reveal was such a fun thing to do specially the pictures. I am going to put the pictures in Durhams Baby book that way he can see who thought he was going to be a girl or boy..

31 Week Pregnancy Vlog

hello my Bondbeautys,

Sorry for the crazy pregnancy blogs I have been posting up, this is the last one then I will be caught up on these ! I will have another makeup blog up soon so don’t worry! So this is my most current one I am 31 weeks pregnant right now!

Due Date? Jan 6,2015
How far along? 31 Weeks
Symptoms? I have been having lots of heart burn still. Now I am getting so uncomfortable even when I am lying on my sides. My nails are getting so flimsy and bendable. So I broke my nails, it is terrible! I am also having scary braxton hicks that last 2 hrs even when I am lying down. I also have discoloration of the skin so I have dark spots on the back of my neck, and legs. This is just something that will go away once the baby is born.
Weight gain/measurements? 174 lbs so I have gained a total of 34 lbs so far. I haven’t gained from last week which is good!
Stretch marks? No new ones, although I did have a scare with a mosquito bite on my belly.
Sleep? I am starting to have insomnia I am just so uncomfortable all the time. Also I have to pee all the time and it is at the point where I can’t wait to long or I will pee my pants.
Exciting Moments/event? I had my Gender reveal party! It was so fun, we did picture props to determine everyones vote !
Miss Anything? I don’t miss being out of breath! Even when get in and out of the truck I get out of breath. I also miss long nails! My nails have been braking lately !
Movement? Yes he his constantly kicking me and flipping.
Food Cravings? I have been craving tamales and spicy food still. I also have been craving cookies and donuts! not healthy!
Gender? He is a boy! We are going to name him Durham and we are so excited to finally release the Gender!!
Labour Signs? Pressure lots of pressure and braxton hicks!
Belly Button In or Out? In Still
Rings on or off? Off my hands are still really swollen
Mood? I have been emotional but not as cranky surprisingly!
looking forward to? I am looking forward to finishing his nursery I am almost done!

30 Week Pregnancy Vlog

Hello my Bondbeautys,

SO I am back with my 30 week pregnancy VLog, I will be doing a new pregnancy Vlog every week so look out for those.

I can’t believe how fast the time is going, I am in my third trimester!! It is so crazy I am getting a bit nervous!

Due date? Jan 6, 2015
How far along? 30 Weeks , but the doctor said that I am week ahead so it is crazy!
Symptoms? Heart burn is a constant! It is terrible ; but Tums are seriously the best ever! It makes it go away in like 2 seconds!My lower back has been just killing me too! My bones are so soft right now, its crazy! Im also so emotional! I am a lot more emotional and moody than my last pregnancy! I have been getting Braxton hicks/ contractions specially since I have been traveling! I went to the florida keys and all the boat rocking and walking just about almost started my labour! Or at least thats how it felt seriously I was worried about the flight home! I am also feeling nauseous which is so weird! My doctor says that I am not eating enough snacks during the day, so I am going to try to always have a snack!
Weight gain/measurements?174 Lbs ( I usually gain 40 lbs when I am pregnant)
Stretch Marks? No new ones yet! Yay!
Sleep?Starting to wake up a lot during the night!
Exciting Moment/event? Went to the doctor and he says baby is head down so it is getting more real! Baby is coming soon!
Miss anything? I miss not being so tired and my back not hurting!
Movement? Yes, baby moves so much it is crazy the baby flips all the time! And now I can see my belly moving from the outside it is so crazy!
Food Cravings? Woppers and Fries it is terrible how much fast food I have been craving!
Gender? Still not telling! I will tell next week so stay tuned!
Labour signs? Braxton hicks/ contractions if I am up all day! Baby Is also head down!
Belly Button In or Out? Out
Rings on or off? Off I am so swollen now it is terrible!
Mood? I am getting so emotional and moody not fun!
looking forward to? I am looking forward to the gender reveal party this saturday! I am so excited to finally tell the gender!
