Foundation Week | 7 Days of Foundation

Hello my bondbeautys, Its so good to be back writing on the blog. Todays post is a very special one, because I’m going to go through and share my foundation week foundation finds. So if you don’t know what foundation week is, I’ll tell you. For seven days I try a new foundation and make a 1st impression video sharing (in detail) how it wore and my thoughts. So I thought I would pair that series up with my blog so I can show you more pictures and tell you my thoughts after I have worn the foundations for weeks now.

($36.00) So lets start with Day 1 of Foundation week, We are talking about the Urban Decay One & Done Foundation. I wear the shade Medium and I find it is a great match for me (I’m a Mac NC35). Their shade range is not good at all, but since its marketed as a light coverage the thought is that lots of different shades will still be able to pull it off even if the shade is slightly off. They only have 6 shades in total.

I love this foundation because it has light to light/med coverage. Its so easy to blend and looks amazing with either both a sponge or a brush. So no matter what your preferred method to apply is, it will look amazing. I love this foundation for everyday bases, or light foundation days. It gives a natural finish and looks great on my dry skin all day long. I was really impressed how a light coverage foundation could last on my skin all day, but apparently with this foundation it can. Below are some swatches of this foundation swatched next to some of my other foundation matches.

Day 2- L.A. Girl Pro Coverage HD Foundation.

This Foundation is seriously such a beautiful buildable full coverage foundation. It has a shade range of 16 shades, which includes a white shade. It retails for $8.99. For being a drugstore foundation this is actually really nice selection. I wear the shade Nude Beige. This foundation has a very natural luminous finish to it, and I personally find it to be patchy with a sponge. I would definitely say go with a brush with this foundation. I personally love a luminous primer underneath so the Becca Priming Filter, or the Physicians Formula Spotlight Primer are good ones.

Day 3 It Cosmetics CC Cream Medium Tan. This is more like a medium coverage foundation, that can build up to full coverage. (depending on what you consider to be full coverage) Again like the Urban Decay One & Done this one doesn’t have a good shade selection; it has 7 shades. It retails for $38.00 and has 1.08 fl oz. I really do love this one, again its perfect for everyday, for teens, or moms basically anyone! Its a beautiful natural luminous finish that wears all day. Great on dry skin but also can be set with a good powder for those with oily skin.

Day 4, is Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation 030 Sand Beige. This is by far the most disappointing foundation, but yet the best foundation all in one. It has full coverage, a very natural matte finish, and it last all day long. But, it only has 3 shades, 3! What?! That is just so crazy, I went with the shade 030 because it had the right undertone. I definitely needed to darken it with a mixer, so I used the Catrice Prime Fine Makeup Transformation Drops Darkening. I really wish they would come out with more shades because it seriously looks like skin. I didn’t need to set it because it set on its own and wouldn’t transfer. This is a good matte foundation to try if you have dry skin. For now this is a great mixing foundation, plus whenever you set it with a spray woah looks beautiful!

Day 5, Nars Natural Radian Longwear Foundation M3.5 Vanuatu $49.00. So far this one is the most expensive, but also the one with the biggest shade selection with 33 different shades. Honestly this one is so gorgeous on the skin. I would definitely repurchase this one. Just because I was able to find a very accurate shade and it looks flawless on the skin. It also wore amazing and its the foundation that I got the most compliments on. Every time I wear this foundation my skin looks so healthy and truly radiant.

Day 6, Physicians Formula The healthy foundation M3 $12.99. Comes in 12 shades. The shade I tried in the video did not match me M3 is definitely my match, if you are wondering. I honestly didn’t like how this foundation looked on my skin. It looked a tiny bit powdery and you could tell I was wearing makeup. If you have dry skin using a hydrating primer & a setting spray would help. I think this one is all about preference. Plus on my skin it didn’t last very long. I do not have swatches for this one but M3 is my match for sure.

Day 7, Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation M3 Classic Tan ($13.99). This foundation comes in 12 colors. Let me tell you by far this is my favorite foundation for two reasons: First, this is such an affordable foundation. Second, this is literally the best color match I have ever found for my skin. Not only that but this foundation looks beautiful, not just beautiful, stunning in natural light (Outside or inside), Studio Lights and in Flash! I just am so amazed with this foundation. It has a radiant dewy finish, but not to dewy in the oily way. I set this lightly and it remains look beautiful ALL DAY LONG! For a drugstore foundation, the lasting power of this one has just absolutely amazed me. In other words GO GET THIS FOUNDATION RIGHT NOW!

Dermacol Makeup Cover Foundation| Worlds Best Foundation?

Hello my Bondbeautys,

Its a bran new day and we are doing #foundationweek. Basically it is where I do A new foundation review/first impressions post every day or 7 days. I started this on my Youtube channel and really wanted to do some blog posts to go along. Plus I know you would really enjoy some good written details.

Today I wanted to share this FULL FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION. The Dermacol Makeup Cover Foundation*. This is seriously the Worlds most full coverage foundation, I’m not exaggerating. My Perfect shade match is Dermacol 221, If you want to see what shades of foundations match me well then look in the description box of the Video below.

So why is this foundation the Worlds Most? It covers everything! To show you I went through and completely marked up my face with a red marker. Why Red? well its more realistic because often times acne & imperfections are red. I know its genius! This foundation smoothed over everything so easy, I still can’t believe it. The best part is that you only need a pea size amount for you entire face. Less is more with this one.

Lets talk Pros & Cons:

Long Wearing
smooths over imperfections and leaves a dewy/natural finish on the skin (Healthy Glow)
Applies Good with Brush Or Sponge (I personally love using a Brush)
Perfect for Pictures or an event

CONS

Feels A little Thick on the Skin

I think this is a good foundation for everyone to have. If you have dry skin or Oily skin I think you can wear this. If you have Oily skin make sure to powder with a mattifying powder or use a mattifying primer. Now this is why I think everyone should have this, even if you do not use this all the time. This is a great foundation to use to spot conceal spots around your face. So if you need more coverage on your forehead apply your regular foundation all over and only apply this on the area on your forehead you need more coverage. After Using these products for almost a month and really trying them in all different ways I have a full review on the Foundation..

Overall the Foundation is my personal favorite! I think it looks beautiful on camera, in pictures & in person. As it warms up to the skin it becomes almost skin like. It looks so natural and beautiful. Also it is a High Medium Coverage when applied with a brush & it is perfect for my needs.

This is one of my Recent Editorial Style Instagram Pics where I’m wearing the Foundation. Also it matches perfectly with my undertone.

WetNWild Photo Focus Foundation Golden Beige (Matches Fit Me Matte & poreless 220)

As far as the other products I tried the cushion products are amazing. I love how they dry down completely so I don’t need to set it. It also lasted longer than any of the other contour / highlight products I have tried from wet n wild.

I also love the undertone of their contour shades, the cushion & stick. They are a perfect natural shade that isn’t too warm or too cool. I feel like these are the most universal shades. Plus the cushions last me 12 hrs (when applied with a brush)

WetnWild is one of the most affordable brands at the drugstore; and for them to come out this year with some amazing products is fantastic. I feel like they came out swinging!

I am so excited to share with you some of my favorite hair, skin & makeup products for this past month. I love doing these kinds of posts because then you have a chance to see products that have truly not only worked for me but that I am personally in love with. (video below to see all products)

Pura d’ or Hairless prevention therapy shampoo & healing conditioner (find at target cvs Rite Aid) This shampoo & Conditioner are organic which means Chemical Free,Paragon free, sulfate free & Gluten free. They are very healthy for your hair. Your hair will not only look healthier & shinier but also feel like it.
Pura d’or Argan Oil I have dry to normal skin. Sometimes my foundation looks cakey on certain parts of my face. It looks like makeup sits on top of my skin rather than blending into my skin. This makes my makeup look un natural . To fix this I add this oil to my foundation (two drops) or just to my face before foundation. It really gives me a natural looking flawless face. The makeup sits so nicely onto of it and helps it really blend into my skin.
Dauphines of New York Headband : This headband is perfect for this summer time. Its so hot in Arizona and its nice to keep your hair out of your face. So this headband is useful and cute all at the same time! I used for the 4th of July and loved it!

Yuer er Gong Zhu Eyelashes : Love these lashes they are glam but look natural all in one. I love these for dates or even everyday. ( I have a giveaway going on so make sure to check out that video too down below. Im giving away these lashes!)
Ittse Eyeshadow Golden Gate : I am so obsessed with this eyeshadow , this is the eyeshadow I used in multiple of my 100 days of makeup pictures. (over on my Instagram)

Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation 220 This foundation is such a great matte foundation. Even with my dry skin it still looks great! I also love to mix the Argan Oils in with this particular foundation. It turns this matte foundation into a natural finish foundation, that just looks fresh and perfect.
Wet N Wild Brushes: Great affordable brushes , super soft and do not shed.
Wet n Wild To reflect Shimmer Palette Boozy Brunch: My favorite Highlight of the moment. Such an unexpected find!
Wet n Wild Mega goo contouring Palette Dulce de Leche: I have been using and abusing this contour palette. I love the contouring shade in here it is a neutral which makes it more wearable and it looks beautiful.
Amazon Brush Egg : This is such an amazing find. It helps clean your brushes just as good as the brush cleaning mats except it is 1/10th of the price. Only 2 bucks , such a steal!
Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush Apri-cot in the Middle: This is a perfect natural blush that goes with any makeup look. So it is perfect for everyday or for special occasions. The reason I like this so much is because it doesn’t take away from your look. Its a no brainer blush.
Bella Pierre Cosmetic Mineral Blush Desert Rose This blush is a beautiful light pink. Another blush that goes with any look but especially blue looks! I love it with a blue smokey eye . (shown in the picture below)

Be a Bombshell Smooth Criminal Powder: Since I have dry skin I have to be so careful when choosing a powder. I can easily turn into a cakey mess. So I have been loving this powder to set my under eye concealer! It smooths the area out with out drying it out.
Wet n Wild Highlighting Pen Posing Nude & A Happy Medium: These pens are so great for highlighting. They are also great for adding to other concealers. Specially hard to work with concealers tend to work better with this concealer.
LA girl Pro Concealer Natural: This concealer is such a great alternative to the MAC Pro long wear concealer. It is not as thick and full coverage but it is definitely so good! I use it for under the eye and it is perfect. I also highlight with it around the face.
Sally Hansen Gel Shine 3D Top Coat: Are you looking for a super shiny top coat that makes it look like you came from the salon? Well I finally found a incredible top coat at the drugstore! This one is so great , it makes my nail polish last longer & looks shinier than any other top coat! Love, Love , Love!

ELF Acne Fighting Gel: This gel really surprised me. It didn’t magically make my acne go away but it helps my blemishes get smaller and start to go away. Its amazing and I am so surprised. I will wash my face before bed and apply it after. Then in the morning my blemishes will be ten times smaller and look a lot better than the day before. This is my secret weapon to beautiful looking skin.
NYC Lip liner Bare: Perfect lip liner to pair up with your nude lips!
Wet n Wild Velvet Matte Lipcolor Looking for Truffle: Such a velvety soft matte lip color! So amazing and this shade is a cooler nude and I love it. So in style right now!
NYX Butter Gloss Eclair: These butter glosses are just that buttery! This color looks so great topped over light pink type of nude lipsticks. (shown below)

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Stockholm: This has been a long time favorite. To me this is the perfect matte nude lip color. Its so affordable as well. If you struggle to find the perfect nude shade try this one out!
LA Colors High Shine Butter Gloss Snuggle: This is a beautiful nude, almost gold shimmery gloss. The formula is very slick and soft without being sticky. The color is perfect to add to the lower lip of your nude lips! (great lipstick topper) I especially have been loving it over a matte cool or grey nude lip. I add it right to the center of my bottom lip and blend! (shown below)

Its that time again, a brand new month and its time to tell you what products are my favorites! So usually have a certain look that I am loving that month so expect a makeup tutorial using all these products for my next post!

Products I am Loving at the Moment:

Loreal True Match Lumi Foundation W6 Sunbeige : I love this because it makes my face look like my skin, its not cakey at all and it looks so gorgeous and fresh faced. I have dry skin so this is perfect for me but If you have oily skin I recommend the Loreal True Match Liquid Foundation or the Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation.
NYC Loose Powder Translucent: This is such a perfect setting powder because it is light and doesn’t cake up the skin. So it sets without adding any unnecessary powder.
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer : Neutralizer – This concealer is one of my favorite concealers for the under eye area. The formula is so thin yet it has so much coverage. Today I woke up with raccoon eyes and you can see in the video you cant even tell! This is amazing and my #1 pick for under the eyes!
Wet N Wild Megalast Lipstick Bare it all: This is such a beautiful nude matte lipstick that I have been loving. It looks effortless and is perfect for everyday! Especially with this lipgloss combo! Divergent Lipgloss: Temptations choice it just adds a peachy sparkle that looks beautiful added to the center of the lower lip!
Elf Baked Bronzer Maui: This is a beautiful bronze sun-kissed bronzer that I love because it adds a beautiful glow. Lately I have been skipping on the blush and just adding this in the cheek area where I would usually add my blush. I think it looks so great for the summer time!
Elf blush & bronzer Duo: Fiji Matte– If you have been keeping up with my makeup tutorials you know that this last month I have been using the bronzer in this duo with a fluffy blending brush right into the crease. This is so great because it makes all the other crease colors you put on top just blend that much easier! Plus I love that this is a duo purpose product for my contour & crease !
Elf baked Eyeshadow Bronzed Beauty: I have been sweeping this with a fluffy brush all over the lid on those days that I want to add a little oomph to my makeup look and it is so gorgeous! As you can see I have been loving all things bronze!
NYC 24 Hr City Proof Eye Primer: This is such a great find! I love that it is a eye primer but in a stick form. Its so convenient to use and unique! Personally I love this but because I can get oily eyelids I sometimes have to set it first before using eyeshadow! If you don’t have my problem then this will work great for you!

April Favorite Makeup Look (Tutorial)

Hello my bondbeautys,

So today I am starting a new series where I show you my monthly favorite makeup look , in a tutorial form, every month to go along with my monthly favorite products video. Im super excited because I get to show you how I create my look using my favorite products.

By the way I’m so excited because we finished knocking down our house wall and we have the beam up. It looks so awesome I am so excited that the hard stuff is over. Soon we are going to paint and add flooring !

Todays look is a super easy summer/spring appropriate every day makeup look. I love how the coral blush & gold tones in my eye makeup just go together so perfect. I feel like this makeup looks so fresh , clean and beautiful.

I did use the Divergent Collectors kit Erudite & Abnegation Palettes. You do not have to use these ones I showed you close ups of the eye shadows so you can find eye shadows that are similar! But for those of you who do have the collectors kit already I thought it would be neat to use it! The Hard Candy Natural Eyes palette has very Similar shades.

For the rest of my face I kept it pretty natural and fresh. I love using my real techniques sponge because it applies my foundation flawlessly. A trick I like to do is contour my cheek bones. This makes me look a lot thinner which I need ( Specially since I just had a baby). I have been loving the Bh Cosmetics Sculpting kit Contour Brush. L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation Review

Hello My Bondbeautys,

Happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to do a long awaited review on the foundation I am currently Loving! This is the L’oreal Infallible pro matte foundation. I have been trying this foundation out for over a month now and because it is fairly new at the drugstore I wanted to an in-depth review on it.

Claims:

This foundation claims to be a Demi Matte Foundation that will last for 24 Hr & that it is medium coverage. It claims to be air light , & never dull as well.

Coverage:

I think that this foundation is more of a fuller coverage foundation. The reason I say this is because for those of us who just slab on our makeup fast in the morning it will end up being full coverage. Why? Because you do not need much of this foundation and to make it medium coverage I feel like you have to be conscious of how much you put on. With that said it can definitely be medium coverage if you only put a small amount on.

Finish:

This is a matte foundation, I do not think it is a demi matte . To me it feel like a full out matte foundation. Because my skin is pretty normal to maybe dry (because of pregnancy etc) I notice that my skin can get really dry wearing this if I do not properly apply moisturizer before hand. So as long as I apply a good hydrating moisturizer I find that I have no problems with this foundation!

Texture:

As far as it being air light. I feel like for the coverage it has , it definitely feels light! But I feel like after it really sets it feel like your regular skin! It also feels really soft and creamy but sets to matte finish. Its also really easy to blend! Basically it feels wonderful when you apply it to your skin & it also spreads so incredibly easy! NO tugging & no frustration Just sheer bliss!

Longevity:

This is a 24 hr foundation! Yes, I said it , It lasted me for 24 hrs easy! Now I don’t mean that after 24 hrs I still saw some foundation left on my face; I mean that after 24 hrs my skin looked exactly how it did when I first applied it! I am so incredibly impressed with how beautifully this looked after hours of working on my house, sweating even working out!

I feel Like when it sets it sets! So it does not transfer on to clothing which is one of my pet peeves! No one wants to give their husband a hug and have makeup come off on their clothing!

Shade:

They have a pretty good shade selection , Not as good as their L’Oreal True Match Foundation , but still not bad at all. I found my shade by picking the same shade name as the Loreal true match foundation. So in the True Match I am w6 sun beige. So I went with the Infallible shade 106 Sun Beige & it fit me perfectly. I do not know if all their names are the same in each collection but that is a good place to start.

Now for the main reason why I like this foundation…

This foundation has a more of a yellow tone to it, which I love! I have such trouble finding my perfect match because either a foundation is too pink or orange! This foundation I think is perfect for those of us that have that yellow undertone to our skin! seriously I have never seen a foundation at the drugstore that matches me this perfectly just because of the yellow hue in it!

How I apply:

I like to apply it with a flat top dense stippling brush from Bh Cosmetics. It does such a good job in blending that I love it! I like to apply it section by section because when this foundation sets their is no budging! Doing it section by section really helps me to concentrate on on space at a time & not feel rushed to blend out the rest of my face!

Who will love this?

So I did try this on my mom and let me tell you it looked gorgeous! So I think whether you are young or mature you will like how this looks. It doesn’t settle into fine lines or anything like that! need proof? well here you have it..

Is it Picture Perfect foundation?

So I did test this foundation out with my professional camera in natural light & with a flash. I also tested this out with my phone for a selfie with a flash & without; Let me tell you this foundation looks great in any lighting , with a flash and without! I was truly impressed. It doesn’t have spf so I would expect it to do good and of course it did great!

As you can tell it does not give off a white cast which is great it keeps your neck even with your face! So this is definitely a picture perfect foundation.

Overall:

I really like this foundation , it does what it says its going to do which is awesome! I think that if you have young or mature skin you will like this foundation. I think this is more for those who want a long lasting foundation. This is also great in pictures & gives you a full coverage look without looking cakey. This is a good foundation for oily to normal and even normal to dry as long as you moisturize well.

October Makeup Favorites

Hello My Bondbeautys,

So Im a little late with this post, but at the end of each month (or beginning of the next month) I like to post my Monthly makeup/beauty favorites. October was such a fun month for me because of all the Halloween stuff going on! So there are a little random favorites this month because of Halloween.

Like always you can watch the video to see the products , but here on my blog I like to get into more detail about why I like the products etc.

Favorites:

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation- This is one of my favorite foundation in the drugstore because of its full coverage capability’s and its staying power. I have never had a problem with the staying power; I put it on in the morning and its on all day. I also never had a problem with it oxidizing ; which basically means it never changed colors on me throughout the day.
Wet N Wild Eye palette : Poster Child- Wet N Wild has some of the best eye shadows out at the drugstore right now! These palettes especially are amazing , this is a newer palette that has only bright, mostly matte, shades. I love the pigmentation , the eye shadows feel soft and smooth. I used this palette for all my Halloween looks this year and really enjoyed it!
Kirkland Eyeshadow Palette- This palette is from Cosco and I decided to pull it out last month because I wanted to do a lavender bridal look for on of my blog posts. A lot of you may have already read this post and if not I encourage you to do so. I posted pictures showing you step by step how to achieve the look. This palette really surprised me , the eye shadows felt smooth and almost like velvet.
Doll 10: Highlighter- This is a cream Highlighter that is very subtle. Sometime we see pictures where the woman has a glow on her cheek bones , that is all because of a highlighter. Where some highlighters are very glowy and can make you look oily this one is more natural ; which is perfect for everyday use.
Kiss Eyelashes 01- Im not one to where eyelashes everyday because its so hard to find natural looking ones. But with that said I have been loving these ones, and you can find them at Walmart or any drugstore.
Wet N Wild Color Icon Lip Liner: Cherry Red – This is the lip liner that I used for Halloween and for some of my tutorials as well . It works amazing for only being $1 it stays on all night even when I eat and talk all night.
Wet N Wild Lipstick: Cherry Frost $1- This is the lipstick I paired up with the lip liner and like I said before for only $1 it works like magic , very impressive.
Wet N Wild Fantasy Lipstick : Black- I Used this lipstick for my Harley Quinn Blog/ Tutorial and I loved it perfect for Halloween.
Starlooks Lipgloss: Guilty Pleasures- This lip gloss is a nude lip gloss that I have used all month long. It is not sticky , it is instead very comfortable on the lips and the color pay off is pretty good . I got this in recent Ipsy bag and have really enjoyed it.

I am wearing some of these October Favorites on today so you can see how they look on! I love favorites because then they give you an idea of some good makeup products that are in stores right now!
