Soft Face & Bold Lip Tutorial

Hello my Bondbeautys,

Today I decided to experiment with some Ittsē makeup that I received in the mail. I am so glad I did because they are amazing! Ittsē is an affordable cosmetic company that has customizable palettes. They have blushes, highlighters, powder, eyeshadow & lip products.  They have a magnetized palette where you can then add your own pot of product. The thing that I thought was so awesome about these palettes is that they are vegan-leather fabric. Thats rather unique they also are a lot sturdier than the Z palette because they do not have a clear window. The eyeshadows stay very protected and it also has a mirror which I find very useful.

* I am not sponsored I just wanted to inform you about the brand & do a mini review.

Today I decided to do a Soft face & eyes, paired up with a bold lip. I used  Ittsē eyeshadows , blush , powder & bronzer. I was pleasantly surprised with how soft and pigmented their products are. They were also very easy to blend. Personally the only product that didn’t work so well for me was the matifying powder because of how matte it was. I have dry skin so I only set my under eye concealer and I still felt like this powder was a little big drying under my eyes. If you have oily skin or combo skin you will love this powder!

IMG_6120For those of you who are curious on how “affordable ” they claim to be. I took the liberty of going to their website and getting prices for you!

  • Eyeshadows : $7.99
  • Palette (different color options): $21.99
  • Brow Powders: $6.99
  • Complexion Powders: $8.99
  • Lip Colors: $7.99
  • Palettes are free with a $75 purchase!

Those prices are so similar to other affordable brands at the drugstore I am so impressed! For todays look the shadows & powders I used were:

  • Grace: In the crease for a transition shade
  • Steps of Rome: To lightly darken up the crease & lower lid blended
  • Pink Pearl: on the lid
  • Alabaster: under the brow & in the tear duct area
  • The Fog Powder: set my under eye concealer
  • St. Tropez illuminate: To warm up & bronze up the face
  • Key Largo Cheek Color: Blush

Greek Goddess Makeup

Greek Goddess Thumb

Hello my Bondbeautys,

Im so excited because today I am going to share with you my very first Halloween Makeup Tutorial of this year. Last year I did several halloween looks as well so make sure to check those out!

So today I am doing a very common and popular Halloween costume, Greek Goddess. This is such an easy look, you don’t need halloween makeup all you really need is a gold shadow or pigment and a nude lipgloss. So lets get started!

For this look I really wanted it to include a lot of Gold, as you guys know the first color you think of when thinking of a Greek Goddess Is Gold!

Close up of shiny forehead

So I had Gold lips, gold cheeks & even a Gold Forehead to add a little more of the Goddess look. Gold pigments I found are the easiest way to do this to the face because as you can see it really showed up great , even on my olive skin tone.

For my Forehead and cheek area I used a gold pigment dry at first then to add some more punch to the color I mixed it with a drop of water, or you can use eye drops.

For the eyes I wanted them to be more romantic & mysterious. So what better way to do this than with a smokey eye. It was so easy to do all I used where two eyeshadows from the Naked Palette. You don’t need to run out and get this palette as long as you have a Gold shimmer shade &  a deep bronzy eyeshadow.

I of course love the shimmer so I did a total shimmery smokey eye ; but if you would rather use a matte deep bronze shade then go ahead.

For the Lips I really wanted a nude lip , but then I felt like it was missing some gold so I used the Gold Pigment I had used before and added it to the lips. What really helps the pigment stick to your lips is using lipgloss before so try using a Nude lipgloss overtop of the matte lip.

  • Smashbox Palette: Gold Mine
  • Gold Pigment
  • Elf Matte Lip Color: nearly Nude
  • Bh Cosmetics : Peace love & mod Lipgloss
  • Bh Cosmetics Blush Palette: Hot Pink

*The Picture On the Right Is The Picture From pinterest that Inspired me, Not My Picture

Smokey Eyes Are So in For the fall, Here is a recreation of a look I saw on Pinterest using drugstore (affordable ) Products.. Enjoy!

Here are the Products I Used Before we get started…

  • Wet N Wild Trio: Im Getting Sunburned
  • Wet N Wild Palette: Comfort Zone
  • Wet N Wild Palette: Blue had me at Hello
  • Nyx Jumbo Pencil: Pure Gold
  • CoverGirl Flamed Out Mascara
  • Elf Mineral Eye Liner: Midnight(for waterline & Top LashLine)
  • Elf Matte Lip Color: Natural
  • Burts Bees Lip Shimmer: Caramel
  • Elf Studio warm Bronzer (For Contour & Blush)
  • L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation 320 Natural Beige
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
  • Elf Makeup Mist & Set Spray (Optional For lasting Power)

EYES:

Although the eyes look complicated they really are not ..

1. Applied Nyx Jumbo Pencil On the Center Of lid (For a Base)

2.Add Gold Shadow Ontop of the Base

3. Apply a Matte Black in the crease , From outercorner all the

way to the inner corner of lid… Making the desired V Shape on

the outer corner

4.Use a dark brown eyeshadow to help darken the crease

5. Use a blending brush and a medium brow shadow to blend out the harsh line

6. Use a Lighter shadow underneath brow for a highlight

If you choose..

7. add the dark brown or black to the lower lid

8.Last add a black eyeliner on the waterline & A thin line on the upper lash line (add a black shadow on top for staying power..)

Now all you need is mascara and your eyes are done!

20130911-152136.jpg

For the face I contoured with the elf warm bronzer, then I swireled my brush in all four shades to create a Glowy blush for the cheeks, I also added the cheek shade soley on the apples of my cheeks for a pop..

Now that the face is Flawless you can add some color to your lips..

Because this look is so dramatic I went with nude lips..

1. Elf matte lip color : Natural

2. Burts Bees Lip Shimmer : Caramel

Now the Look is finished !!

Whats your favorite date night look?? Have you tried this look yet?

Dont be afraid to get out of your shell and try new looks, you never know who you could impress…
